What do you do?
Both simple and profound, The Key Idea Project unlocks, collects and showcases the big ideas of adults and children. People reveal their optimism as we document their big ideas and dreams as inspired by used keys.  Read some KeyStories here.

How did the project get started?
The Key Idea Project began in 2014 with the Cape Cod and Islands Art Educators Association. We were looking for a project that would be meaningful, challenging and manageable for art students in grades pre-k through college. The Key Idea Project was offered at least once at all school districts on Cape Cod. It was a hit at our annual event - parents and grandparents wanted to make a KeyStory as well. The project has continued to grow and expand since then.   See more.

A few years ago, I placed an ad in the
Cape Cod Times Write to Know section asking for used keys.
The response was tremendous.
It was as if people were waiting to give them to someone who would use them.
Now we need more. Can you help?
