Last week I started journals with 95 students in the Barnstable Intermediate School. I wrote a grant with an English teacher and it was funded through DOE and the anti-bully intiative in this state. Seventh graders are making art jounals to learn about themselves and to increase empathy for others. What fun!

The makeover is finished. Sam will join me to teach classes from time to time. He will be featured on videos that go with the Kits in the Mail. The first kit will be mailed next week. Sign up soon to be included in the first mailing.    I love this picture of my sister Lisa and I. We had a family get together this past weekend to celebrate our Mom's 80th birthday. We downloaded old slides and enjoyed reminiscing about our childhoods. Neither one of us could remember what this photo was all about. I have to make this a journal page.
