Did any of you know Carol? Monday will mark ten years since she passed away from breast cancer. I think of her so often as I build the arts education program at Cotuit Center for the Arts. What fun she would have had there! I'm planning a small event for people who knew her. Did you?

These Pinocchio figures are great for teaching drawing. I need more. Does anyone have one they could give away to Cotuit Center for the Arts? Any size is fine. I have a tiny one that was unable to make it to the photo shoot. Missing pieces are ok. One has a pencil for a nose. I need some more mannequins too. Thanks!
We had a great class at Cotuit Center for the Arts on Monday. Lots of women had fun getting their hands into some supplies and creating backgrounds. Part two is next Monday, adding images and graphics.
making altered books. I'm working on one now for the Arts Foundation WILD THINGS show. This one is a little different, the book only opens to one, two-page spread. I'll work on the embellishments today and post a pic when it is done.
Thanksgiving is easy, so November is when I start to think about Winter Holiday prep. This year the Nice Gifts and Ornaments class for children will be run a bit differently than in the past. Kids will be able to choose from of a variety of gift ideas for the people on their list. We'll use generally the same skills and materials but the gifts will be selected individually.
